By using a mini DVI to VGA Cable, the mini DVI is the 3rd input/ output from the charger on the left hand side of your MACBook. You need a cable like this one: http://store.apple.com/uk/product/M9320G/A?fnode=home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/displays&mco=MjQzNDA then you will either need a gender bender (to change the output from female to male) or a male to male cable, such as this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/2M-SVGA-Monitor-Cable-MALE/dp/B000J1J790 This will then plug in to your projector in the female VGA port. To show the display, you may have to toggle the F7 key on your MACBook between display and extended desktop (to do this press it, and the display will show on the projector)

Hope this answers your question (If a bit late)
